Summary

The first train to run on the new Brighton line photographed at the location of the planned Ascot Park railway station. One of three trainloads of intended Ascot Park land purchasers who travelled to the site on Saturday 22 February 1913. showing a locomotive and carriage, the official tent, and various vehicles, including an automobile and horse-drawn transport.
