Summary

Sir Henry Galway, Governor of South Australia and Colonel Godfrey Irving, Commandant of South Australia military forces attending an army function at Morphettville Race Course, surrounded by a crowd of onlookers. The man behind the Governor is believed to be Major Bentley S. Connor, ADC to the Governor; and the officer 2nd from right is Frank Rowell. An article about the visit appeared in 'The Critic', Wednesday 23 September 1914, page 11.
