General notes

Researcher Richard Norgard believes this photograph shows the "Success" during her voyage from Glasson Dock, Lancaster, to Boston, Massachusetts, which commenced about April 15, 1912 and was completed about July 17, 1912. She is rigged as a barkentine. She had just recently changed owners and was enroute to America to commence a tour of the major ports there.
