Summary

Tram tracks on the main road through rural Kensington Gardens, near Adelaide with horse drawn wagons travelling alongside near thick plantings of gum trees. A tram is visible in the distance. According to a researcher, the tramway has been electrified recently, shown by the wires coming off the cast iron pole in the left foreground and, more difficult to see, wires and fitting more distantly in the centre of the photograph.
