Summary

The first motor car to cross the new bridge at Whitwarta, over the River Wakefield, South Australia. The gala day and opening was held on Friday 14 August 1914, with speeches by Mr F. McArdie, Chairman of the Balaklava District Council, and Mr Young, the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
