Summary

George Ramsay on his Lewis motorcycle at Kadina Oval prior to attempting a 24 hour distance record, which he set by covering 824 miles at an average speed of 34.83 mph. He had broken the record earlier in 1912, but had failed to take the necessary steps for the feat to be recognised.
