Summary

Elevated view of stonework. A small cross has been drawn on to the photograph. Two captions on rear read 'Ruined temple with pyramid on left at Sakhara' and 'Cross indicates a shaft going down to tombs blocked by rubbish. Note 3 pyramids in distance. Underneath the cross[?] when entered from passage is an enormous heap of mummies perhaps 1000 or 2000 in a large passage way.
