Photoprint copy of the log book for one of the Rolls-Royce series 8 Eagle engines, makers No. 5716, commercial engine No. C200, used in the Vickers Vimy G-EAOU aeroplane flown by Ross and Keith Smith during their inaugural England-Australia flight. Featuring an Aeronautical Inspection Department Despatch Record dated 25 October 1919 and Engine Inspection and Acceptance Test Record on 20 August 1919, and Certificate of Inspection on 17 October 1919 and despatch. Log entries beginning with engine being fitted to Vickers Vimy G-EAOU port side on 30 October 1919 and ending 30 March and 5 April 1920 with the engine being handed over to the Australian Commonwealth Government on behalf of Vickers Limited, London.
