PRG 174/81-96:

Part of a collection purchased by the State Library in 2015 also including PRG 175/8-20 (Angas Family) and BRG 385 (Joseph Keynes & Co.).

PRG 174/4-6 [reel 10] has index at the end of the reel. PRG 174/13-14 [reel 17] has index at end of reel but index corresponds with letters etc. which are probably on reel 16.

George Fife Angas' copies of George French Angas' 1842 book "A Ramble through Malta and Sicily" and his own copy of 1843 Lloyd's Register of Shipping given to Angas Collection of published works.

Three letters in series 1 were not microfilmed: extracts from a letter by Hermann Koch, a German emigrant on the 'Zebra' in 1838, to Captain Hahn at Hamburg, written 17 November 1841 (series 1/1863-1864); extract of a letter from Rev August Kavel, 4 December 1841 (series 1/1869-1870); and a letter written by August Kavel to G.F. Angas, 9 December 1841 (series 1/1877-1878). Copies have been made of these letters and can be requested via an archivist to be read in the Reading Room.
