Moules Road was named in honour of Robert Moule and his wife Elizabeth, who arrived arrived in South Australia in 1851. They owned 56 acres) of land in Sections 341 and 292, originally called South Stradbroke, and now part of the suburbs of Magill and Rostrevor.
