'My car in the snow, Christmas 1917'. The car driven by No. 984 Driver Mervyn Graham. He served with the 4th Field Ambulance from August to December 1916 in France, and was then transferred to the 4th Division Supply Column in France, until 1918.

Assembly for a presentation of awards for valour where No.6182 Sergeant Clarence James Graham received his Distinguished Conduct Medal for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty in driving a motor ambulance along roads which were being heavily shelled by machine gun fire, 14 March 1919. Sergeant Graham served with the 4th Field Ambulance, Reinforcement 11, and the 4th Motor Transport Company.
