Summary

On the front is a hand-coloured photograph of Swiss troops bivouacking among the mountains of Switzerland. On the reverse is a note from Count Eric de Heuseler, describing the plight of Belgian refugees and atrocities being commited in Belgium. Fribourg, Switzerland. 20 October 1914. The postcard was published in the 'Daily Herald', Tuesday 15 December 1914, page 5, 'a postcard from Switzerland'.
