Summary

View of the Ross and Keith Smith memorial obelisk located in Fannie Bay, Port Darwin. The monument was unveiled in 1923 and the plaque on the front reads: 'Erected by the Commonwealth of Australia to commemmorate the landing at Port Darwin of the first aerial flight from England, 10th December 1919'. Original photograph: black and white print, 9.1 x 6.6 cm.
