Summary

Australian armed forces on a jungle path in the Indonesian island of Morotai. One of the soldiers is Phil Straw, No.VX119080 Philip Martin Straw, born 11 July 1923 in Sandringham, Victoria, enlisted 14 October 1942 in Alice Springs, and served as a Staff Sergeant with the 17 Australian Army Ordnance Depot. Original photograph: black and white print, 6 x 8.7 cm.
