Lord Mayor, John Scott Philps, (right) and Lady Mayoress Mahalia Alice nee Honeyman (centre) arrive at Wests Theatre, Hindley Street, Adelaide, prior to the gala premier of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games motion picture. They were greeted by a guard of honour formed South Australian Olympic competitors and fifty athletes.
