Summary

Two women and a man looking at a brochure in the kitchen of Taubmans House of Ideas. Beside them is a sign advertising "Taubmans lavish color scheme at the ultra modern State Theatre, Hindley St., Open to the public Tues. Nov. 12th. See it at the State!" On the corner of Henley Beach Road and William Avenue, Henley Beach, the house was opened by the Premier, Sir Thomas Playford, on Thursday 17 October 1957. 9,000 people visited the house on the first weekend.
