"More than two hundred guests attended the annual Bacchus Club dinner dance at the South Australian Hotel. Enjoying pre-dinner sherry together are Mr. and Mrs. David Hardy (couple on left) and Mr. and Mrs. James Ingoldby jun. Guests were received by the Bacchus Club president, Mr Jeffrey Penfold Hyland and Mrs. Penfold Hyland."
