General notes

From a collection of labels and shop advertisement signs gathered by the Batten family for pickles, sauces and drinks. Most of the products were made by the F. Humphris business of Jamestown, and the Jamestown Butter & Trading Co. F. Humphris later became F. Humphris & Sons Ltd., until it was taken over by the Jamestown Butter & Trading Co. in 1932.
