Lameroo tennis club group portrait

Group portrait printed on a postcard of the Lameroo tennis club, with members wearing hats and many holding tennis rackets. The woman at the front, right, is seated next to a pram with a baby lying inside. At the back of the group on the right is a boy seated on a horse, and on the far left is a young man standing next to a horse in harness. Written on back of postcard, addressed to Mrs J. Cameron, Cambridge Terrace, Unley: 'Dear Mother, Have only time for a P.C. this morning. Rain spoilt the [?] again, just my luck; only a few there but [?] more than at the last one as the expenses were not so heavy. Thank you very much for the prizes, they were just the thing, you couldn't have done better. The [?] first were won by a brother + sister Mr and Miss Critchley and the bookies. Lulu and Ralph Kakh. A lovely day today of course the 'day after' always is good. Love to Ray and plenty for yourself. Ken.' The postcard was written by Kenneth Cameron to his mother Charlotte Eliza Cameron (nee Davie) and sent from Lameroo, South Australia.
