Summary

Norman Kaines (left) and another man leaning against a boulder with a plaque commemorating the centenary of the meeting of Matthew Flinders and Nicholas Baudin at Encounter bay in 1802. A Crown Lands Office sign behind the rock states that a penalty of 50 pounds exists for "wilfully defacing this tablet".
