Florence is seated and wearing a wide-brimmed hat, fur scarf, a long double-breasted coat and holding a pair of gloves in her left hand. Underneath the photo is inscribed: 'Love from Flossie and George. 4/5/19. (1919)'. On the back of the photo is inscribed: 'Soon be home Mum, old dear. xxxxxx' in pencil. A newspaper obituary notice for George Oswald, 6 November 1938, is stuck on the back of the photograph.
