An embroidered sampler on white satin which 'was worked early in the 18th century by a member of the Randall and Wickes family'. It depicts a woman sitting by a spinning wheel with a tortoise shell cat at her feet.

Wickes family portraits

Two framed portraits of Edward Walter Wickes, and his wife Anne. They comprise photographic prints which have been tinted and placed in ornate gold frames (possibly for their golden wedding anniversary celebrations, 4 September 1867). Also included is a miniature portrait in a gold mount of an unidentified young man, possibly Edward Wickes prior to leaving England; a card marking their 50th wedding anniversary; and an in memoriam card for Edward Wickes, 1868.
