Summary

Notebook originally used by M.U. [Max Ulrich] Hubbe, 2/Lt, 79 Infantry, to make notes from lectures given at the Brighton Officers' School of Instruction, 1-31 January 1915. Max Hubbe was the son of Samuel Hubbe. The book was subsequently used by another family member to record housekeeping expenses, 1922-1927.
