Corporal John Ulrich Hood.

Corporal John Ulrich Hood.

Portrait of 'No.1087 Corporal J.U. Hood, D Company, 3rd Pioneers (Victoria), AIF, leaving about 20th May I think'. Corporal Hood was promoted to Sergeant and served on the Western Front. He was killed in action on 15 October 1917 in Belgium. He was a cousin of the Hubbe children.
