Historical information

Hermann Fritz Hubbe embarked at Adelaide per P.& O.'Morea' on 26 August 1915. He was in Sarpi Camp Lemnos in December of 1915. He was admitted to No. 3 AGM Mudros with jaundice on 19 December 1915 and discharged on 27 December. In March 1916 he was transferred from the 12th Battalion to the 1st Pioneer Battalion. He was promoted to Captain while in France on 1 June 1916 and was killed in action 23 July 1916.
