C. Grimm in the photograph (back row), the following article from The Advertiser relates to him (Christian August Wilhelm Grimm b. 28 March 1875 Yelta Mines, SA, died 13 June 1913 between Kadina & Wallaroo, SA). He was the son of Ernst August Wilhelm Grimm & Caroline Heinrich. From the Advertiser, Monday 16 June 1913, p.17: FATALITIES AND ACCIDENTS:- FATAL FALL FROM A TRAIN. Kadina June 15. C.A.W. Grimm, son of Alexander Wilhelm Grimm fell off a goods train into a mine drain on Friday night, and was killed. His companions did not miss him until the train reached Wallaroo. Communications with Kadina resulted in a search being made, and the body was found.
