The iron barque 'Anglo Norman', 864 tons, wrecked on the New Zealand coast on September 26, 1914. [iron 3 masted mbq. 864 gross tons. ON73634, 192.4 x 32.2 x 18.9. Built 1876 (1) Russell and Co. Port Glasgow. Owners: Edmund Frost and Partners. Registered London, then Maxwell Eastham and Co., later C & G Jamieson, eventually sold to Norway without change of name and wrecked Sept. 26 1914 on coast of New Zealand.]

From the volume titled 'British Owned Iron and Steel Barques (II)'.

This image is from the A.D. Edwardes Collection of about 8,000 photographs, mostly of sailing ships from around the world, taken between about 1865 and 1920. Mounted in 91 albums, the photographs are arranged by country of ownership, with some special volumes such as 'Shipping at Port Adelaide' and 'South Australian outports'. Additional information, giving the history of the ships where known, has been provided by maritime historian, Ron Parsons.
