Summary

The iron ship 'Largo Law', 1681 tons, moored in an unidentified port. James Niven, sailed on this vessel as Bosun under Captain Furneaux from about 1895 - 1900. [iron ship 1681 tons, ON84324, 253.8 x 38.7 x 22.8. Built 1881 (5) Napier, Shanks and Bell. Glasgow. Owners: T Law and Co. Registered Glasgow. Burnt while loading guano in February 1905].

One of the ships owned by The Shire Line / Thomas Law and Co., Glasgow.

This image is from the A.D. Edwardes Collection of about 8,000 photographs, mostly of sailing ships from around the world, taken between about 1865 and 1920.
