Historical information

(Godson number 22A/3).

Frank Beverige used this original 'P.S. Roy' as a fishing boat, then after the 1956 flood, he converted it to his permanent home, jacking it up to make it level. Further information in Ronald Parsons 'Ships of the inland river', 3rd rev. ed. 1966, p126. The 'P.S. Roy' is now at the Cobdogla Irrigation & Steam Museum.
