Image is slightly blotched and faded.

Tyro's boiler exploded at Hanckel's Landing, a few miles from Mannum, on 20 November 1897. PRG 1258/1/3546 shows the extent of the damage.

Registered at Port Adelaide, 1872, official number 64210. Built at Goolwa, 1872, by Shetliffe and sons. (Godson number 96A/12/1).
