General notes

Caption notes "Schooner Punkeri approx 1889. Miss and Mrs. Kruse, Captain Kruse, George Ross (boy), on last voyage, with load of fencing wire for Tom Bowman at Rumply Point, Lake Albert. Leaking badly, turned back to Milang after sailing a quarter of way across Lake Alexandria. Sank at Milang Jetty. Finally broken up. Captain Kruse then had 'Ada & Clara' built."

This schooner was also known as 'Punkeri', although it was registered with the name 'Ponkaree'.
