Summary

Side view from the bow of 'P.S. Florence Annie' at river bank, with shearers and troopers wearing uniforms on board. Was under police protection during the shearer's strikes. Carrying cargo of wool bales. The steamer was captained by Lennart Strom, who was Swedish and arrived in Australia with the Swedish merchant navy at 19. He lived in Echuca and married Mary Cashen, a woman of English descent.
