Summary

A folding hand fan with wooden frame and handle surrounding folded waxed linen. The fan was provided to stall holders at the Unitarian Church in Wakefield Street. It may have belonged to Alfred Muller Simpson, a prominent member of the Unitarian Church, which was established on Wakefield Street in 1857. The fan was among the belongings of Alfred Moxon Simpson.
