Survey field book, containing several South Australia sketches (Hurtle Vale, Encounter Bay, Lyndoch Valley and including a preliminary sketch for the painting entitled 'Landing place at Glenelg' June 16th, 1837) 1837-1838. 178pp (7 blank). [46 pages of the notes were made by a person other than Light in 1850.] 4.75" x 7.5". Brown leather covers, with metal clasp.
