Historical information

Frederick (Fred) Martin was born in 1848 and came to South Australia with his family in 1850. He married Catherine Edith Macaulay Mackay in March 1882. They began marrie life in a cottage on Hackney Road. In 1891 they travelled to Europe. While overseas Fred became ill. He and Catherine returned to Australia in 1907. He died in 1909.
