Summary

Portrait of Captain John Bishop seated, wearing a waistcoat with a low 'V' collar, an open jacket, and a white shirt with a high collar and black bow tie. The positive image has been developed on glass, with the skin tones and background hand-coloured, with a second sheet of glass placed on top.
