L. Henn & Company were the lithographers of a collection of 14 South Australian views in the 1880s (at 994.2T d).

Historical information

The E.H. Bird is likely to be Ernest Henry Bird, born 14 March 1871, son of Samuel Henry Alexander Bird, commercial traveller, and his wife Sarah, nee Mason. In 1884 the Bird family lived in Childers Street, North Adelaide. By ca.1890 S.H.A. Bird was proprietor of the Family & General Draper business in Murray Street, Gawler.
