Embroidery of flags commemorating World War I. [Inset photo of Mr J.M. (James Michael) Ryan, a South Australian who was a member of the 43rd Battalion. A relative of his was Miss E.C. Ryan, who enquired about him when he was wounded in France and was a convalescent in England. He returned to South Australia on the "Nestor" in June 1919].
