A man with a lady passenger in a straight-shaft sulky drawn by two horses, possibly in the Kapunda district. This sort of vehicle, designed for fast driving, had springs mounted between the shafts and axle, with a dash-board and wing boards over the wheels for protection from stones and mud splashes. The horse in front is added for extra speed and effect.
