Summary

A hand drawn scale map of Strzelecki Creek, showing its junction with Coopers Creek. Drawn on linen and sealed with wax. The map includes details of land elevation and floods marks which occurred previously in 1877, 1882, 1884 and 1892. The water level of Coopers Creek on 18 July 1894 is marked, giving a possible date for the creation of the map. Four waterholes are marked, three of which are labelled 'Burla [Burla]', 'Tourapi W.' and 'Little Tourap[i].' These appear to be variant spellings of locations later known as the Burlieburlie Waterhole and the Tooroopie and Little Tooroopie Waterholes.
