General notes

Reginald Ansett, of Ansett Airways purchased Australian National Airways and the two airlines were merged to form Ansett-ANA, 3 October 1957. The name was retained until 1968 when it was renamed Ansett Airlines. The Ansett company was liquidated in 2002.
