View looking approximately south across a cricket match at Adelaide Oval, believed to be the 1937 test match between Australia and England. Trams wait outside the eastern gates of the Oval to carry the large crowd. Foundations for the Parliament House extension can be seen on the corner of King William Street and North Terrace.
