Machinery at the Adelaide Confectionery Works, verso reads: 'Typical of machines (modern!) used at Adelaide Confectionery Works. Although much older machines used which were driven by huge belts mounted on shafts in the factory roof and connected to a roller powered engine. Very dangerous if staff were careless!'
