The completed six-lane Victoria Bridge over the Torrens Lake, with part of Memorial Drive Tennis Club grandstands visible under the bridge span. The bridge was opened in March 1968 with the Morphett Street Bridge, and was designed for the Adelaide City Council by Manusell and Partners and built by John Holland Constructions Pty. Ltd. The concrete used for the bridge was supplied by Albion Reid (S.A.) Pty. Ltd, and involved 40 ton concrete segments being cast on site.
