Summary

Photograph of members of the Mount Gambier Salvation Army Band taken in 1941. Four young boy musicians are seated on the floor in front of the band. Those identified are: back row, 3rd from left - Clyde Holman, 4th Laurie Holman, 5th Clyde Holman (Flugelhorn), 6th ?, 7th Mr. Mansell. Middle row: 4th from left Howie Clark (see also BRG 347/5787), 5th (George?) Haines, 6th Claude Haines. Front row: from left, 1st Drew Nicholls, 2nd Teddy Little, 3rd Merv Nicholls , 4th Major Smith, 5th Mrs Smith, Mr. Pace (the Bandmaster).
