Photograph of Mrs Bunn looking down at her new baby. The baby is possibly two months old and is wearing a long christening dress and laying on a shawl. Mrs Bunn has a cameo brooch pinned to her dark dress. The baby is Bryan William Bunn, born 21 October 1945. His father Corp. Lyall William Bunn was posted to 21 (HB) Squadron RAAF in June 1945 and served in Borneo until his discharge in January 1946. As he was away at the time of Bryan's birth this photograph was taken to send to him. Madge and Lyall had two other boys, who were 3 years and 18 months old when he enlisted in 1941. He served in New Guinea 30 Squadron RAAF from September 1942 - January 1944.
