General notes

Part of a collection of photographs taken by Eric Arthur, a Mount Gambier photographer.

Historical information

'Bunny' Hutchesson was the first tour guide at the Princess Margaret Rose Cave, starting on 4 January 1941. He was one of the original finders of the cave; he was the second person to enter the cave on a rope down a solution tube which was the entrance. Candles were used as the first light. Keith Mceachern was the first man down the cave. [from information provided by researcher].
