Summary

Photograph of John Tremelling showing his Olympic standard pistol shooting to his wife Joan on 25th May 1960, Mount Gambier. According to a researcher this image was taken prior to Tremelling joining Australia's Olympic Team for the 1960 Olympics held in Rome, Italy. He subsequently missed Olympic selection by one point, in each of four Olympiads and then won selection for the second time in 1980, and was the only Australian pistol shooter named for the Moscow Olympics.
