Historical information

Governor Sir Robert George toured the General Motors-Holden's plant at Woodville in April of 1953. He was accompanied by the director J.R. Holden, plant manager J.K. Stuart, works manager A.W. Rymill, the President of the Chamber of Manufacturers W.G. Gerard, and the secretary of the Chamber, Denis Winterbottom. The tour was arranged by the Chamber of Manufacturers.
