Album titled 'GMH - Australia' comprising annotated black and white photographs of the buildings and operations of the GM-H plants around Australia, including Fisherman's Bend plant and Technical Centre, Woodville, Elizabeth, Birkenhead, Mosman Park, Acacia Ridge under construction, Pagewood, NASCO, Frigidaire Dandenong, Frigidaire Punchbowl, Strathpine, and the 2167 acre GM-H proving ground at Lang Lang. Includes images of the bus and truck assembly line at Dandenong, the 'body drop' at Pagewood, and Schuler strip press and Clearing press at Woodville. Also contains images of the new Elizabeth plant including a development stage in the building of the metal stampings plant at Elizabeth, the modern drawing offices, the Body Hardware division, body assembly and welding sections, trim assembly lines, HR Holden car assembly line and rail transportation of new vehicle bodies.
